Does CompanyCam integrate with JobNimbus?

Yes, natively, and photos attach themselves to jobs from the day you switch it on. The part worth knowing first: initial activation backfills only your 100 most recent contact and job records.

What the CompanyCam and JobNimbus connection does, as four rows: new jobs auto-created after activation, the 100 most recent records backfilled, anything older not linked, and addresses having to match or two projects are created.

Yes. It is a native connection, documented by both companies, and it does the thing you want: photos taken in the field land against the right job in JobNimbus without anybody filing them.

One detail is worth knowing before you switch it on, because it is the one that surprises people. From the moment it is live, new jobs get their projects made for them. For the work already on your books, the first sync reaches back through your 100 most recent contact and job records and stops there.

Not all of them. A hundred.

What the connection actually does

Once the two accounts are linked, a job in JobNimbus gets a matching project in CompanyCam. Photos taken on that address attach to that project, which means the office can open one record and see the roof rather than asking a crew lead to text the pictures again.

That is the whole value, and it is real. The gap it closes is not photography. It is filing. A photo that exists but sits in somebody's camera roll is, for every practical purpose at month end or during a claim, a photo you do not have.

The hundred most recent

Here is where it pays to be precise. On the day you connect the two accounts, they reconcile the history that already exists, and that reconciliation covers your 100 most recent contact and job records. Everything from that moment on is automatic.

So the switch-on date is a real decision, not an administrative one. Connect in a quiet stretch and 100 records may cover most of what is open. Connect on the back of a storm season and 100 records can be a few weeks of work. Every job behind that line keeps its photos wherever they already live, and linking them is a person opening records one at a time.

Nobody finds this out on the day they connect it. They find it out a year later, when an adjuster asks for the before photos on an older job and the record is empty. The fix at that point is somebody's afternoon.

Ask the question in the order that matters: how many jobs did we open in the last hundred records, and which month does that reach back to? It takes a minute to answer and it tells you whether you need a manual pass over the older work.

Two columns comparing what happens on either side of the hundred-record line: inside the window a project is created automatically and field photos attach to the job, while outside it photos stay where they are, linking is manual one job at a time, and no error is raised.
Everything after activation is automatic. Everything before it depends on where the hundredth record falls.

Where photos go with the rest of the stack

CompanyCam is unusually well connected in roofing, and it is worth knowing the shape of it before you assume a link exists.

AccuLynx and ServiceTitan both have native connections, listed on both sides. Roofr's runs in both directions: photos flow into proposals, then signed proposals and reports come back to the CompanyCam project, which is a genuinely useful loop if proposals are where your jobs get decided.

Hover connects too. Hover measurements and photos sync into the matching CompanyCam project, so the measurement and the pictures end up in one place.

EagleView does not. As of August 2026, searching CompanyCam's own integrations directory for EagleView comes back empty. If EagleView is your measurement provider and CompanyCam is your camera, those two things do not meet, and whatever joins them is your CRM or a person.

That is not a criticism of either company. It is the ordinary shape of a market where every connection is a commercial decision somebody made, and the useful move is to check rather than assume.

What to check before you switch it on

Three things, and all three are answerable in an afternoon.

Where the hundredth record falls, which you now know how to ask.

Whether the addresses match. Automatic project creation works on the record it is given, and a company that has been typing addresses freehand for six years has more variants of the same street than anyone expects. Two spellings of one address make two projects.

Who is allowed to see what. Photos of a customer's house are customer data, and the permission model in one tool does not automatically mirror the other.

The version where none of this is a question

Every one of these checks exists because two products each hold their own idea of a job, and a connection has to keep the two ideas agreeing. The backfill limit is not a flaw. It is what a sensible engineering team does when asked to reconcile two systems that were never one system.

A setup built around how your company works does not have the seam, because the photo, the job and the customer are the same record from the start. There is no activation date, no backfill window and no second definition of an address to reconcile, since nothing was ever separate. Measurements come in through the provider's API, photos attach to the job they were taken on, and the office opens one thing.

Both things are worth having. Switch the connection on and it will file your photos properly, starting this week. And it costs nothing to find out what the single-record version would look like for your company while you do, and knowing that answer changes what you build toward.

Frequently asked questions

Does CompanyCam integrate with JobNimbus?

Yes. It is a native, first-party connection documented on both sides, and once it is on, projects are created automatically so field photos land against the right job without anyone filing them.

Will my old jobs get their photos linked when I connect it?

Not all of them. New jobs are handled from the moment it is live, and the first sync reaches back through your 100 most recent contact and job records. Anything older stays where it is unless someone links it by hand.

Does CompanyCam work with AccuLynx, Roofr and ServiceTitan too?

Yes, all three are native connections. With Roofr the traffic runs both ways: photos flow into proposals, and signed proposals and reports come back to the CompanyCam project.

Does CompanyCam connect to EagleView?

No. CompanyCam's own integrations directory returns an explicit no-integration result for EagleView. Hover is a different story and is listed, with measurements and photos syncing into the matching CompanyCam project.

What should I check before turning the integration on?

The date. Switching it on with a full season behind you means the backfill reaches 100 records and stops, so it is worth knowing which jobs land inside that window before you rely on it for anything.
